Choosing a pole is a personal choice that you should make depending on your poling requirements, personal preference, body chemistry, and experience.
You’ll need to think about what kind of FINISH and DIAMETER you want to work with and where you will be setting up the pole.
Silicone – similar to Chinese pole, can wear clothing, max grip
Powder Coated – good for sensitive skin, max grip
Brass – solid polished brass, high grip
This pole is made of solid Brass tubing with a high polish finish. Brass is a porous metal which can absorb the oils in the skin, and also means it is a softer metal. This pole has a very high grip and is great for those with sweaty/oily skin.
Titanium Gold – electronically coated, enhanced grip
The Titanium Gold pole is made of steel tubing then finished with Titanium Gold electronic plating to enhance grip. Titanium color does fade with use, however the grip remains the same regardless of some color fading.
Chrome – most popular, competition standard, regular grip
Chrome is the industry standard and most commonly purchased finish. It is used in many studios and competitions. This pole is made of steel tubing then finished with Chromium plating. The chrome pole is also the most affordable pole finish.
Stainless Steel – weather resistant, best for sensitive skin, regular grip
The Steel pole is made of pure Steel tubing, with a high polish stainless finish. This is a very strong metal, is weather resistant, and is also best for those with sensitive/hypoallergenic skin.
40mm (1.5in) – slimmest, sleekest pole yet, great for small hands
45mm (1.75in) – most popular, great hand grip, industry & competition standard
48mm (1.89 in) – its a 40mm pole and becomes 48mm with silicone coating
50mm (2in) – original pole size
53mm (2.09 in) – its a 45mm pole and becomes 53mm with silicone coating
The Sport pole is a static only pole.
The X-Pert pole gives you the option to be a spinning or static pole.

If you have slanted, vaulted, cathedral style ceilings you can use our X-Pert poles. This can be done by purchasing a vaulted ceiling mount.
Unfortunately, Sport poles do not have this option. We do not offer vaulted mounts for Sport poles.
It is fine to use a pole on a popcorn ceiling.
The X-Pert pole works best on textured ceilings.
Using a pole on a carpet is fine, but remember that when you tighten the pole, the carpet will compress anywhere from 1/2-2 inches, so please be aware of this when measuring your ceiling and after initial set-up you may need to re-tighten.
The pole should leave no damage to a floor or ceiling, as long as it is used and maintained correctly! Please watch our installation video when your pole arrives, and the instruction manual has tips on how to maintain your pole.
All of our poles are completely removable and portable. With the pressure mounted system, you do not have to drill on your ceiling or floor.
You may need a permanent fixture (mount) if your ceiling is above 12 feet or have slanted ceiling, but the pole is still easily removable.
All of our poles are portable! They will arrive with carry cases, so hang on to these in order to transport your pole easily.
All X-Pert and Sport poles come with the following:
- Base plate
- 250mm extension
- 125mm extension
- 3 X-joints
- Top adapter
- Ceiling mount (dome for X-Pert, fixed plate for Sport)
- 2 Hex-keys
Please note that the extensions will come attached with 2 of the X-joints for packaging purposes. Make sure to watch the installation video so you can have a visual of what to expect when opening up your package. You can detach these from one another if you are using an additional extension.
Highest height: 109.5″ deep x 126″ wide
The X-Stage Standard is very stable with the stage being about a foot off the ground giving you the feeling of being on a performance stage. The X-Stage Standard has carrying cases for the pole, plates, and base frame. The base frame case comes with wheels so transporting your X-Stage has never been easier.
The X-Stage Lite is very stable and has all the same features as the X-Stage Standard except its base frame is only 4 inches off the ground increasing the amount of workable pole to 9ft 8in! The X-Stage Lite has carrying cases for the pole, plates, and base frame. The base frame case comes with wheels so transporting your X-Stage has never been easier. For extra stability you can extend the legs and add weight plates to the posts on the frame.
WHICH ONE SHOULD I GET?
Choosing between the Standard and Lite is all based on personal preference.
Where will you be using the Pole? Will you be doing more floor choreography? Do you want more of the pole to work with? Do you want more of the stage feeling? These are just a few questions to consider to help you decide on which stage works best for you.
If you have a ceiling height that is lower than 10 feet and need to get an extension to make your pole shorter, please refer to the following:
- Use 1000mm extension for ceiling heights 8’9″ – 9’1″ – pole stands at 8’4″
- Use 750mm extension for ceiling heights 7’11” – 8’9″ – pole stands at 7’6″
- Use 500mm extension for ceiling heights 7’1″ – 7’11” – pole stands at 6’8″
You can use the extension in place of the B-Pole to make your pole height shorter.

There are different ways to clean your pole to keep it looking like new. We highly recommend regular maintenance and regularly clean your pole if you use any grip aids.
- X-Clean – can be purchased here
- Can be used on Chrome, Stainless Steel, Titanium Gold, and Brass poles
- Quickly removes unwanted grip buildup, oil and grime – saves you valuable time!
- Fast drying and NO residue
- Smells nice – soft orange scent
- Will not damage pole
- High quality microfiber cloth included with every purchase
- Rubbing Alcohol – 50%-70%
- Can be used on Chrome, Stainless Steel, Titanium Gold, and Brass poles
- Use with soft cloth
Brass naturally tarnishes over time. When it tarnishes, you can use brass cleaner to keep the gold color of your pole. Any brass cleaner from a local hardware store will do the job.
SILICONE AND POWDER COATED POLES
Use warm soapy water with a soft cloth to clean Silicone and Powder Coated poles. Do not use rubbing alcohol or X-Clean or any type of strong cleaning solution as this will deteriorate your pole finish.
